I'm Barry Greenwood and I used to run this FoE group years ago. But a combination of advancing years, declining energy, health issues and then covid/lockdown meant the group fell into semi-hibernation except for a few very energetic members. I'm delighted that the group has been revived by some 'new blood' who are using 21st century ways of communicating and reaching a younger audience.
I hope to continue participating in the group's activity, but not as energetically as previously.
My wife Jayne is also a member of the FoE group and we have one son who lives in the South East.
My hobbies are carpentry, choral singing and recorder playing. One of my perennial goals is to eat less chocolate and cake, but that's not going very well.
Hello. I'm Karen. I head up the Simple Steps and I run the Facebook page, not bad going as I only joined a few months ago!
I've lived in Abergavenny with my husband and 2 school-aged children for 12 years. I love growing stuff and sewing stuff. I love Jesus and I feel it is my duty to take care of the incredible world that he made, as well as the people in it.
I dream of a world with clean air, clean waters, good healthy food and surrounded by nature in all its variety. It's a shame that this is just a dream, we are a long way from making that a reality, but I believe it's not impossible.
Hi I'm new to FOE Ab and Crick but enjoying getting involved with the the group as part of the social media team. I'd love to hear from other members about how we can engage with a wider audience.
